In spite of the damage caused by Hurricane Irma, the locals in Clearwater have given the green light for the 2017 Super Boat Clearwater National Championship. With a roster larger than previous races this year, the offshore racing community is stepping up to support the community in Clearwater later this week, including the Sterling Performance Engine-Powered Fleet!
While the Superboat class currently has seven teams registered, much attention will be on national points leaders Performance Boat Center and WHM Motorsports as they battle it out on the water for a checkered-flag finish! Meanwhile, STIHL Offshore Racing just announced today that Grants Signature Racing is putting in fresh Sterling Performance power in the fan-favorite Skater just in time for the race this weekend!
Make sure to tune in to cheer on Us-1 Performance Boat Center, #4 Cleveland Construction, #5 WHM Motorsports, #06 M Con, and #13 STIHL Offshore Racing as they compete for the National Championship titles in the Superboat class!
