Sterling Performance Engines Win At Texas Outlaw Challenge

Texas Outlaw ChallengeFriday, June 21st made for a fantastic day in the world of boat racing as tons of enthusiasts made way to Dickinson, TX for Friday’s leg of the 6th Annual Texas Outlaw Challenge Gunslinger Poker Run.

One of the boats that hit the water that day was Kenny Mungle’s 32’A Gone Again Skater, powered by Sterling Performance Engines, which hit a top speed of 171 MPH and took home the Top Gun Award!

After such an awesome win, we had to get in touch with Mungle to recap the race, and he had nothing but fantastic things to say about his boat and Sterling Performance Engines.

“The engines were spot on… they performed flawlessly! No leaks, they never died… never backfired. They were flawless.”

Mungle raved that Sterling’s Mike D’Annibale has been the best supporter he’s ever had. Additionally, he stated that D’Anniballe has been extremely helpful in the rigging of the boat, walking Mungle through every process of what and how to check different components of the boat when prepping it for events, such as the Texas Outlaw Challenge.

From Sterling Performance, we want to thank and congratulate Mungle for a phenomenal race this weekend, showing everyone what power Sterling Performance Engines are capable of! We look forward to seeing this beautiful boat back out on the water!

Keep an eye out for more photos and video coverage of the race, coming soon.
